Twelve students from Newfoundland and Labrador have been chosen to participate in this year's Young Citizens program! These students were chosen at the Regional Heritage Fairs for their outstanding projects, passion for their topic, and excellent communication skills.

Now the students have created videos about their projects and they need your vote! Two students from Newfoundland and Labrador will be chosen as 2017 Young Citizens and will receive a trip to Ottawa to attend Canada's History's National Youth Forum. One student will be selected via popular vote, and the other will be selected by a panel of judges. Voting closes at midnight on July 7!
